Land For Sale in Austral Near the New Airport: The Next Big Investment

Destination in NSW

Located just a few minutes’ drive away from the new Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA), Sydney’s Austral suburb is the next prime location for property investments in NSW.

More than 11,000 hectares in and around Badgery’s Creek will accommodate the 24-hour international airport and the whole Aerotropolis.

Several transportation projects are already underway to better connect the south-western Sydney to Sydney City, Liverpool, Parramatta, and Penrith. Plus, with hundreds of thousands of new job opportunities and the growing demand for homes within a short commute distance, the region is expected to be Sydney’s newest thriving economic hub.

As a result, the demand and value of land in Austral and other nearby suburbs are increasing. And, the patterns continue as demand explodes—turning Austral into a real estate goldmine. Therefore, lands secured today will yield substantial capital gains for homebuyers and property investors.

These opportunities become even more attractive with a rise in completed or underway government projects in south-western Sydney. Some of these are:

What This Means for Buyers/Investors

As you can see, billions of dollars are being spent on transportation, business precincts, and local infrastructure, positioning the region ideal for both short- and long-term property investments.

For property buyers, owning land in an area with access to, and lifestyle and employment opportunities that are likely to grow, is a desirable prospect. The owner can occupy the property or wait to capitalise on rising demand. As new roads, rail lines, and apartments are built in Austral in the coming years, it will be a more appealing destination for families.

It’s an even better story for investors. The Western Sydney Aerotropolis will provide thousands of jobs, with companies specialising in technology, logistics, and aviation establishing factories around the airport. This will lead to rental demand, keeping land appreciation at a steady pace, and an active property market with prizes for early starters.

So, we can confidently say that buying land in Austral, NSW, today is an investment for massive profits tomorrow.
